A long and somewhat painful story this, truth be known but will give you some Idea of our history.

A few years back now me and a couple of other friends where in a great little clan called EGC

EASY GOING CLAN and there where just that.

We played wars once sometimes twice a week in TO and had good fun but very rarely won

It was after all EASY GOING Alot of the clan members started playing BF1942 when it first came

out but a few of us die hard TO players couldn't see the attraction and wanted to keep playing wars

However they started getting few and far between No practice sessions meant no chance of ever

winning Cry

So in October 2003 me and a few others decided we would Leave EGC and start our own little clan

that would practice every week and actually WIN a few wars.

Well best laid plans and all that didn't quite work out the way we intended but we still had alot

of fun and two wars a week some we won some we lost but good fun was had by all.

Not two long after a faction broke away from BTC stating we where two stricked for them

they wanted to start a FUN clan kinda like the one we where in originally good old EGC go figure...

Anyway it split the clan down the middle a few bad words where said and both clans went there

own way.

As it turned out our way is now based around us all HAVING FUN no matter what game we are playing

in war mode or just messing around on a server we only have one rule and thats DONT CHEAT

we are all adults and some of us have reached our prime (mentioning no names Jonski and Fido)

but we still have a laugh no matter what game we are playing and who we are playing it with.

we try to get together for a lan once sometimes twice a year they are great fun just check out the

Pics for proof if you've never been to one I highly recommend going its a great way to meet friends

you have spoken to for years but never seen in real life.

Hmmmm tricky one this. I guess you would say we are a bunch of friends who play Online games and like to have a chat about any and most things most nights on our TS.

We play a wide variaty of games starting in the good old days with TO (which will still play from time to time esp at our Lan partys) then the range is endles.

The main thing is having FUN.

We have had active war teams in TO, BF2 and COD4 but are going through a slow period at the moment regarding wars, It seems RL catches up with the best of us.

We have our Own hosted server owned by BTC which we can run anything we fancy on. currently running the games you can see listed on the server link.

If anyone would like to come and join in feel free to sign up on the Forums and pop into our Teamspeak. We are all friendly people so why not pop in and say hello.

The Joomla! team has about 1 million good reasons to be smiling about the Joomla! 1.5. In its current incarnation, it's had more than 1 million downloads, taking it to an unprecedented level of popularity. The new code base is almost an entire re-factor of the old code base. The user experience is still extremely slick but for developers the API is a dream. A proper framework for real PHP architects seeking the best of the best.

If you're a former Mambo User or a 1.0 series Joomla! User, 1.5 is the future of CMSs for a number of reasons. It's more powerful, more flexible, more secure, and intuitive. Our developers and interface designers have worked countless hours to make this the most exciting release in the content management system sphere.

Go on ... get your FREE copy of Joomla! today and spread the word about this benchmark project.
